Masumeh Farchtchi, LMFT, is a licensed marriage and family therapist in the state of Virginia.

I believe the stories we tell about ourselves are powerful. My job is to support persons in the amazing process of authoring themselves. I use strengths-based approaches to individual, couples, family, and group therapy. Relationships are a focus of my work, especially romantic relationships, parent-child and sibling relationships. I am always excited to meet a new person to walk alongside for a while in their unique journey of growth and exploration.

I have special interest and skillsets working with couples and families living with chronic illness and disablement experiences. I integrate resilience models, trauma-informed care, and medical family therapy in addition to other family systems approaches. I constantly research and adapt to best serve.

Telehealth and In-Person options are available. I am in-network with Aetna, Anthem BCBS, Carefirst BCBS, Carelon, Cigna, Kaiser through Headway. Out-of-pocket fee is $165 per 50-minute session. Currently seeing adults and adolescents (12yo+).
